Those of you who regularly visit this Blog and read my emails probably know that I have re focused my online efforts to Niche Marketing – I have found the IM Niche too hyped with far too much recycled information so am sticking to the odd Newsletter, Article and promoting very occasionaly if I come across something good.
Many have asked questions about how to ramp up traffic to your blogs, it seems that this is a common issue, with plenty of noise and different opinions floating around. If you run a blog, a few simple adjustments described in this article should help.
Up until around 6 weeks ago I must confess that whilst I knew the basics of keyword research and back linking, even ramping up traffic to sites I never appreciated just how many gaps there were and still are in my own SEO knowledge.
Despite this, I have consistently managed to get top rankings in Google based on keywords in article title headings without consciously giving the reasons why too much thought apart from the fact that it is a WordPress Blog which by nature ranks well in search engines.
So the question has to be asked – Why do search engines like WordPress Blogs so much?
I’m sure there are more technical reasons like WordPress Blogs may be well optimized for SEO, but the simple non technical reason is that the bots which trawl the web looking for original content are far more likely to get dynamic real time up to date information from Blogs which are consistently updated with new articles, unlike a static website which perhaps stays the same for years on end.
