MODULE 4 ALEX JEFFREYS INTERNET MARKETING COURSE
Module 4 is all about taking action to ensure that you get traffic to your blog. I like the analogy of the Oil Rig platform. The internet is an ocean and your blog is an oilrig platform with which you need to attract clams who then attract fish who then attract bigger fish = traffic.
We now have the task of creating our own You Tube videos which I am working on the script at the moment. I’m in 2 minds to team up with 1 or 2 fellow students and do something jointly as well as by myself to try to make the message more interesting. Anyone out there in the UK and not too far from North Wales, let me know, perhaps we could arrange something.
Tonight I have left comments on 14 of Winning the Web blogs, a time consuming task, but if by leaving vakuable feedback on other peoples blogs is the start of new relationships/traffic/getting known it has to be a worthwhile task. I think I’ll put aside an hour every couple of days for this task from now on even if it blows by brains taking in all this information.
Anyway thats enough for now, time for zzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!

Hi Peter,
That Winning the Web list is awesome, isn’t it? I have about 100 of the blogs on there plugged into my RSS reader so I will never be short of new blog post ideas or commenting opportunities!
It is a bit time consuming but it is just one of those things that has to be done if you want to increase the traffic to your blog!

Hi Peter,
I’ve also began to comment on some of those blogs from the Winning The Web list, but I’m a bit behind most people as I didn’t watch Module #4 until a few days after it went live.
I think I’m pretty much out of the picture as far as the traffic comp, but I’m not too bothered, I’ve already seen the results some are having, which is way way more than me. I’m still going to do all the methods I can, and blog about what I’m doing to get the traffic. For me it’s not about winning money, I realize Alex has only put that prize up to get people moving, it’s more about following what Alex teaches, and putting it into action for ourselves.
I say good luck to whoever is still in the race.
Paul.
Hey Peter,
The oil rig analogy certainly help to make sense of it all. I have also put time aside daily to post on other peoples blog as well as see how I can help out in the members forum.
Cheers
Mel
Very time consuming though isn’t it?
Hi Pete,
I know how time consuming this can be, I think I saw you on a couple, you just beat me!
Talk soon,
Paul
