Maria Andros – Video Marketing Tutorial
Last night I listened to Maria Andros’ recorded tutorial on video marketing which was set up by Alex a few months ago but nevertheless still highly relevant now. The effectiveness of what she said and its simplicity to implement blew me away!
I for one have never, ever recorded an interview on social media to an audience of any kind and until now never ever intended to. I hate my own voice and seeing myself on camera but this is something I have to do, watch this space.
Maria has built from a nothing an Internet Marketing business purely from Video Marketing on You Tube and other video sites over the last couple of years – very few people in this world can say that they have built a multi thousand $ business over such a short space of time from nothing, enough said.
As someone relatively new to this game, I had never heard of Maria previously, neither as it happens had I heard of Alex Jeffreys, but look her up in the search engines and her name and products are all over the place.
To say that this is another trick I and I expect many others have been missing is an understatement.
The basic steps for producing a video are as follows:
* Provide a welcome message but loosen up to the camera and treat it like you are talking to your best friend
* Establish your credibility as an expert in your chosen field
* Create a hook – meaning bring in something interesting to the conversation that your readership is going to want to know more
* Bring your personal background and story into the conversation – everyone likes a story
* Ensure you come across as friendly and likable – people do business with those they like
* Paint the problem
* Provide a solution
* Call to action – “I’d love to share more information, visit my blog……… etc”
Not rocket science is it?
Again, credit to Alex for having the forethought to bring someone of Maria’s calibre into what he is doing

Heidi
Nothing wrong with your pic, i’m the most camera shy person in the world and hate my voice – i’ll still do it though!
Hey Pete
Nice post! Maria is definitely good at what she does, and an inspiration to the rest of us
Thanks for stopping by mine today, am looking forward to your vids!
Take care,
Paul
If you cant be inspired by her energy you wont by anyone!
Hi Peter,
The call with Maria really was great. I know I’ve seen a lot of people doing videos in the past and never thought I would be doing them. lol Little did I know then! I don’t like myself in pictures, so I can’t imagine how I’ll feel about myself in videos. I’m just going to have to get over it though. If everyone else is doing it, then so can I.
I like your blog theme and how the comments look!
Thanks, Heidi
Hey Peter
You were saying on Dean’s blog that you are only getting a few comments …so here’s one for ya..:-)

Hi, Peter, I was ready to jump into the Maria’s Course, but I can not affor such high price.Probably, next time I will more prepared from the financial side. I believe we can benefit to much from Maria’s experience.
Great summary …the guys like Alex and Maria have a few things in common an abundance of energy and passion. Thsi is never easy to portray to a camera( ive tried ) i think practice is the key lets go for it what have we got to lose
hope alls going well

Hi Richad
Agreed – I’m no natural with the camera either. Might be an idea for a few students to get together and produce something
Hi Peter,
This is an excellent round up of what was an inspiring webinar from Maria. Video is something I have been procrastinating on and I’d love to just be able to do it and for it to be great!
However, I know it’s going to take practice and while it isn’t rocket science, it will take time and effort to master.
